HK – Spaceman

A short name for a fantastic made robot from the late sixties !. Made in HongKong by an unknown manufacturer as is the case for most robots and spacetoys made out there ! 🙂 I found the robot in the USA this time where I was able to buy it from a friend and well known robot collector. Its the first time I have this robot complete with the original box and battery cover that goes on the back.

Made out of plastic and battery operated. According to the box the robot can amuse us with the following actions: – Realistic walking action, – blinking light eyes, – swinging arms, – click click sound and of course.. yep a turning engine.
Very cool for an astronaut by the way 😉

I can be very short about the condition: all original and complete robot in perfect working order. Besides some minor playwear there are no flaws to mention. I would rate the robot as excellent to near mint. The box is original and excellent with a tear at one side and some minor taping to keep the flaps attached to the box.

Overall one of the best boxes I have seen.

Very rare and scarce robot and box, scarce combination !
