Horikawa – Piston Robot.

Made in the early seventies by SH Horikawa in Japan. this strange looking robot is seldomly seen in the market.  With such a fragile head the robot not many of these survived and by best guess is also that kids did not really like this robot because of the looks.
Anyway.. these days is a gem.. seldomly seen, rare and scarce robot these days.
This one i found in Italy many years ago where it was part of a big collection i found in Milano. It has been sitting my my shelves for many years, time to let it go now to a new owner.

I can be short about the robots condition.. near mint to mint robot, unplayed with and works like a charm ! The box is excellent to near mint and some glue residu from the price sticker on the front is keeping it from higher grading.
Absolute stunning example of this hard to find Horikawa variation ! You can not go wrong with this fantastic example !
