Metal House – Robby the Robot prototype

Well, this box has been stored away here in the Dutch Caves for over 10 years already. It was part of Shinji’s Miyazawa legacy that I bought back in 2015 when he passed away.

There is NO doubt this is again one of Shinji’s Prototypes: its written on the bottom of the robots leg 🙂
in fantastic condition, with box.. working and all the parts are bare metal, no paint, no litho, just the metal 🙂 very very cool.
even better is that the robot works perfetly.

This robot serie ran around 2000 and the robots were made in 2 variations, in painted silver with red arms and feet and I believe they were also produced in black.

Anyway, look at the pics. so cool it really also says: prototype shinji miyazawa metal house.
how confusing by the way.. otti, metal house, tin age.. all seem to date back to the roots.. horikawa 🙂

Only one is known to exist at this moment, there might be more prototypes made by shinji but i have never seen them around.

Already more than 25 years old.. time flies !!! make sure to own a piece of pure robot history…
