Mego Hong Kong – Apollo Space Man

A short name for a fantastic made robot from the late sixties !. Made in  Britisch Colony in HongKong by Mego. I found the robot in Denmark this time where I was able to buy it from a friend and well known robot collector. Its the first time I have this robot complete with the original box and battery cover that goes on the back.

Made out of plastic and battery operated. According to the box the robot can amuse us with the following actions: – Realistic walking action, – blinking light eyes, – swinging arms, – click click sound and of course.. yep a turning engine.
Very cool for an astronaut by the way 😉

I can be very short about the condition: all original and complete robot in perfect working order.  No cracks, No flaws to mention. I would rate the robot as near mint to mint  The rare and scarce box is original and excellent with a tear at the front as shown in the pictures. Hard to ever upgrade example !

Overall one of the best robot and box I have ever seen.
