Osaka Tin Toy Institute – Mechanized Robby Robot   “Ebay Japan”

Mechanized Robby was reproduced by Osaka Tin Toy in Japan in the nineties. Several color variations in limited series were made. in black, silver, green, red and even chrome and gold versions. This variation is the socalled ” ebay.co.jp ” version. to be honest, i don’t know the story about this robot and why it’s marked ebay at the back, must have a special reason for sure 🙂

This example  comes in grey with red arms and feet. Surprisingly this example works fine.
Most Robby Robots from Otti had plastic gears that broke after some years, resulting in non working robots… most of these dont work anymore because of this flaw but… this one seems to have a different setup in the mechanism, this one works fine with all the actions.

The condition is near mint to mint and the robot is unplayed with. works fine and strong with all the actions. Comes with box and inserts and has still the ID card.

Rare variation of this fantastic robot.
