Frankonia – Sparky Robot.

Made in Japan by, i think SY for Frankonia in the early sixties.  This Sparky Robot shares parts of the body with the SY mighty robots but this one has real legs instead of the pedal system of its mighty brothers.

Made out of lithographed tin with a clockwork mechanism, made in blue very nice litho.  In action the robot walks forward with sparks in its chest.

Made in the early sixties and not showing up that often in the market.. in fact this is the very first time a boxed example enters my shelves.

The robots mechanism is excellent and besides some light playwear there are no flaws to mention on this one. Accompanied by its original box in excellent to near mint condition.
A very nice combination of robot and box. scarce combination.

The robot works fine, clockwork motor is ok and fully functional.

Hard to find with the original box.
