Daiya – Cragstan Astronaut.

There is a LOT to tell about this impressive robot that was made in the early sixties in Japan and made by Daiya.  First.. the robot is big ( 35 cm ). Made in several varations with both astronaut head as with boys head. Made in the colors blue and red ( and a very few in green.. search my website ! 🙂

This tinmade robot / astronaut walks forward and fires his lighted gun at will by raising it. with, of course ratata sound :). Made out of lithographed tin and battery operated. The 2 D-cells go in the back of the robots backpack.

The condition is excellent + and only a crack in the dome is keeping the robot from higher grading. an absolute above average example, complete and all original and in perfect working order…There is only minor play wear… very nice example of this hard to find astronaut. !
