Yoshiya  KO – S.S.Space Rocket.

Must have been a Japanese “Stutter”  Craftsman who invented this beautifully Space Rocket. I have no other idea where the three “S” are used for 🙂
Fact remains that this is one of the best space rockets that KO Yoshiya build in the fifties. Made in 2 variations with friction ( this one ) and there is also a battery operated version. The shape and litho differ a lot from other japanese rockets… this one carries the Stars throughout, amazing litho and design.

Even better than the toy is the artwork on the box, its fantastic and for me this rocket is not complete without the box. The condition of this rocket is excellent to near mint, No flaws to mention, other than some minor playwear throughout. No dings, no rust and the rocket works fine and strong, even still sparks ! the box has some staining but is complete and original. no tears or repairs to the box, all original as it should be.

A fantastic combination of a very scarce and hard to find space toy.
