Kanto – Space Tank.

When I first saw this rare space tank i was really convinced it was not complete and that i was missing the driver robot / astronaut behind the steering wheel man i was wrong again.

After I have seen the tank i forgot about it and a couple of hours I realized suddenly i was wrong.. the toy was never made WITH a driver, it was complete and I bought it.

Some days later i decided to go through my books because i could not find any information about this one on the internet. I found out it was for sale in one auction some years ago and yes i was right.. this tank never had a driver 🙂

This Space Tank was made by Kanto in Japan in the early sixties. Friction powered and equipped with a ball shooting gun.  Inside the toy were some of the balls rattling and I could get them out and place them in them under the green canopy where they belonged… Also the Tanks mechanism to shoot them works fine.

The condition of this ultra scarce and rare space tank is excellent to near mint. The toy is all original and complete and works fine. No damage, rust or any flaws to mention. Really a rare tank in fantastic condition, no upgrade needed on this one IF…. you will be able to find it again… I never saw this one in the open market ever….
