Robot House – The Mummy Handpainted Prototype Robot.

This completely hand painted prototype was found in the workshop of Mr Miyazawa’s workshop along with many other interesting toys. Mr Shinji Miyazawa passed away in 2014 and left behind a real treasure of prototype robots. He created for many companies and this one was created for Robot House. This prototype was made in the late eighties / early nineties ( the release of the final robot was in 1991 by the way according to the box ).  The complete body, arms and legs are all hand painted and reveal again the skills of Mr Miyazawa and the Japanese craftsmanship.

The hands and the head are made out of solid raisin and are also hand painted. The robot has a working clockwork mechanism inside as well that also is in working order. But… there is more.. there are also the original blueprints for the artwork of the box for The Mummy ! 🙂 I will add them with this prototype.

Absolute unique robot, one of a kind,  Completely Hand painted Prototype of The Mummy.

Rare, scarce and unique..
