Daiya – Cragstan X-70 Astronaut

Made in Japan in the sixties by Daiya ( for Cragstan,not for Rosko ) This Astronaut X-70 is the third variation known but is not only different in color but also in name and litho. It’s a rarely seen robot in the scene. It walks around with a rotating antenna. Suddenly he stops and he raises his BIG Gun and starts to fire it at will with a loud Ra-ta-ta sound and red flashing lights. Then he lowers his gun again and moves on to the next victim. There are 3 versions known of this Robot: one in blue red and green. Blue is the most common one, green the most rare so I guess red will be somewhere in between 🙂

The robot is excellent, all original and works fine. minor play wear, its the best example I ever had. The chrome ring that holds the dome could use a polish job but that i will leave to the new owner. Never opened or messed with before and even the original antenna is present.
