China – Space Boat MF 780

Well, there was a time that China produced quality tin toys and that was in the sixties and early seventies. later on the toy were all real mass produced and the quality went down… sadly..

This Space Boat MF 780 however is one of the lucky toys and was build in a period that China produced some good quality toys. Made out of lithographed tin and battery operated. In action this flying saucer moves ar0und with mystery bump and go action, swiveling lights and space sound.
The condition of this MF 790 flying saucer is near mint and i really doubt if the toy has much been played with. It still works fine and strong with all the actions.
But it gets even better.. the toy is accompanied by its original box in near mint condition as well. even the original inserts are still present.

In this condition a very very hard to find combination.. Just take a look at the fantastic artwork on the toplid of the box.. very very nice.
