Tada – Big X

The good, the bad and the…. well where to start with this long leg windup toy from Japan…

First.. the robot is a very very very hard to find and scarce robot that you never see around.. its the first example I could lay my hands on in over 15 years of collecting.
Big – X by Tada is made out of lithographed tin with a clockwork mechanism. Its a socalled long leg version and I believe i also had a batman with long legs a couple of years ago.

Let me start with the condition because there are some things to mention.. first as you can see the robot is in very well played with condition, for sure not a mint example. The black on the legs have been repainted and the arms that came loose with the robot were attached again but i dont believe these are the original arms for this robot. the cape is not original as well so what does that all leave us ?? well the robot still works  and has never been opened up before. original head as well.

Normally i would have never added this one to my collection but because the robot has something special and because its so unbelievable scarce i had to buy it.

So for sure not a mint example, but.. its BIG X.. from Tada…and he loves amazing in a robot collection…
