Ananias Ananiades Greece – Space Ship X-52

Made in the early seventies in Greece. This tin and plastic made space ship has not ONE, not TWO but THREE astronauts in control of the space ship 🙂

Of course this is a direct “copy” of the Japanese version but most of the magic is somehow different… the saucer has, as said, 3 astronauts, the litho underneath the dome is different and.. the saucer runs on a special 4.5 battery that.. I have not seen for years !!
I had those flat 4.5 volt batteries as a kid that i played with a lot to attach motors and lightbulbs.

A Quick search learned that these are still available and easy to find 🙂 pfiew 🙂
I tested this saucer of course with such a battery and it works like a charm. all the actions, mystery bump and go, lights, spinning outer ring.. all works fine.

The condition of this very rare and scarce saucer is near mint to mint. looks like an unplayed example to me and so is the box.
the box has a small section of missing paper on one of the sidepanels ( probably where the pricetag was ). Further there are no flaws to mention on this example.

Very very hard to find in any condition ! this one is as good as new.. no upgrade ever needed on this example …
