MTH - Mr Atomic

There was a time when a mint in box Mr. Atomic was sold for over 32.000 usd. That made this awesome robot one of the most expensive robots of the golden age. Build by Yonezawa and imported exclusively by Cragstan in the early 1960`s, Mr Atomic is THE robot Icon. Mr Atomic was made in 2 versions: A 1963 silver version and a 1964 more scarce blue version. 

In 1994 MTH ( Mike`s Toy House) made an exclusive 100 % reproduction of this popular robot. If my information is correct, they even used the original yonezawa molds for duplication Mr. Atomic. a limited edition of 500 silver and 500 blue Mr. Atomic were reproduced.

This 1994 build Mr. Atomic by MTH is a blue version and is signed with a shield in the batterybox ( numer 97 out of 500 )
It comes with the original reproduction box. Mr. Atomic is new and never played with and is as a reproduction allready more than 15 years old :)

This Mr. Atomic is in new/mint condition and so is the box with inserts. There is no rust, there are no dings and the batterycompartment is clean and shows the signed MTH plate. Mr Atomic is in 100 % working condition. It has mystery bump&go action, flashing lights in the dome and tapping feet. This all comes of course with a typical robot sound.

If you are looking for a piece of robot history then Mr. Atomic is a must have for your collection. Its an exact 100 % copy of the original in all aspects ! Though the orignal Mr. Atomics in mint condition are simply impossible to find, the MTH reproduction of Mr. Atomic is also becomming a scarce find.
