Daiya - Astro Space Racer

This somewhat uncommon spacetoy was build in 1960 by Daiya in Japan. This time its a spacetoy without the mystery bump&go action but the attractive "stop and go" funktion. This battery operated space car comes with flashing lights and a spinning engine light. when placed on the floor the Astro Racer shows its flashing lightshow, enginesound and enginelight. suddenly it "shifts" into the first gear and heads out. after a while it stops and the sequence start all over again.

Daiya Astro Racer comes with its original box that shows only some change of color at one side as shown in the pictures. Even the original inserts are present. This is really one of the best boxes for this toy I have ever seen but there is more !! The astro racer itself is in mint / new condition and has never been played with. Impossible to upgrade this one ever, you wont just find a better example of this toy.

Daiya astro racer is a very attractive and uncommon spacetoy that is not seen much around and is hard to find in in any condition with original box. This example is new / mint and never played with. No need ever to upgrade this one !!! A rare desirable toy that fits perfectly in any spacetoy collection.
